IITTL is pleased to join Washington Middle School in their funded project, “Analysis
of Impact of Hawaii Micro Innovative STEM Environmental Research Project”. IITTL’s
subaward will be directed by Dr. Gerald Knezek and Dr. Tandra Tyler-Wood.
Project Goals:
1. Creating strategic and contextual STEM learning opportunities, including student
activities that foster STEM engagement and advocacy through micro-innovative projects
and activities
2. Building a network of teacher and community collaborators who will generate powerful
impact through small, iterative changes, and stimulate profound change, as individuals
and in their communities
