The HEC Becomes the NSSEC To broaden the focus on space science rather than solely heliophysics, the Heliophysics Education Consortium (HEC) and been renamed the NASA Space Science Education Consortium (NSSEC). This change reflects the misson of building interest and awaremess for all space sciences. |

UNT Graduate Student's Eclipse Account Sameehan S. Joshi, a graduate student in UNT's Dept. of Materials Science and Engineering was provided solar glasses to allow him and his wife to observe the total eclipse. Dallas Arboretum Gets Silhouette In preparation for the SciQuest summer camp, UNT's IITTL delivered and set up a Silhouette design printer/cutter to the Dallas Arboretum. The device will be used in creating 2D models and various design creations by students. |
