NASA Heliophysics presentation in Sanger, Texas on April 5, 2024. Sanger Sixth Grade Campus, Sanger Independent School District. NASA presenters included Michael S. F. Kirk, Research Astrophysicist, Christina Milotte, Education Specialist, and J. Patrick Haas, Electronics Engineer. NASA's Heliophysics Education Activation Team (HEAT) from Goddard Space Flight Center visted for a series of engaging discussions during the "eclipse weekend" in the DFW Metroplex. Dr. Michael Kirk explained the workings of the Sun and its influence on our solar system. The conversation highlighted the significance of heliophysics, especially in light of the 2024 Total Eclipse, and its long-term importance to society.
